Jarad M. Holmes is an associate in the Illinois office of Knight, Hoppe, Kurnik and Knight, Ltd. Jarad joined the firm in September of 2020. Jarad received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in May 2014 and received his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in May 2018.
While in law school, Jarad served as student clinician with The John Marshall Law School Veterans Legal Clinic where he assisted in preparing appeals of veterans’ denied VA disability and pension benefit claims at the VA Regional Office, the Board of Veterans Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Jarad has previously worked as an associate for a small firm whose practice focused on asbestos and toxic tort litigation as well as product liability and trucking negligence claims. Additionally, Jarad has experience in the defense of general negligence, utilities negligence, construction negligence, premises liability, and breach of contract claims filed in the Chicagoland area.
Jarad is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.
